Can I get finance with a provisional licence?
We understand that there are a lot of people aged between 18-75 with a provisional driving licence and this can make is difficult to obtain finance.
Most finance companies will not accept a provisional driving licence as they see it as a high risk. However, If you really feel that you need car finance before you obtain your full driving license, there is a way that we can help. There are a select few finance companies exclusively available to us that can help!
As you do not have a full UK driving licence the car that you choose must be a sensible first car and under £12000. If you have deposit (around 10%) this would help massively to get an acceptance in your name. We might need a parent to go as guarantor but this all depends on your current credit situation.
To speed up the process, when applying for any finance it is advisable to ensure all of your personal details are correct and that you are registered on the electoral roll. If we do get an acceptance for you we would require a proof of address (bank statement dated within the last 3 months).
